Our Story

Green Star Distribution is the new incarnation of what was originally a small family business that started over 25 years ago, supplying FMCG products to mostly Independent retail stores, ethnic supermarkets and halal restaurant customers,

Our founder was running a small technology services business providing consulting services to a Swiss pharma multinational. He frequently worked with lots of Muslim people and when they would go out to eat there was always a shortage of Halal product, in-fact sometimes there was nothing at all. What was annoying was that you could only get the basics everywhere at best, you know salt and vinegar chips, your basic snack foods or simple vegetarian fast food. This used to happen all across Europe, but if you did find anything it was food from Asia (India, which got boring)

the Founder and his family went to Saudi to relocate and the business was strategically planned from Saudi, with optimum locations for the business and close ties to our customer bases, initially this was the UK, but with our first adverts on social media we saw the true scope of the demand from the global Muslim community.

On entering Morocco the Founder believed that the business was ideally situated here as a bridge between the East, the West, the Americas and Southern Africa. The Business was Operational and the rest is being written. Our Mission, provide consumers with "Halal Everything, Halal Everywhere"
